Steve and the Appliance Works team were great to work with. Professional and on time with good communication. Steve was able to troubleshoot and identify a couple of possible problems. He returned after ordering all parts he thought it could be and started with the most obvious and lowest costing part, rather than just starting to replace things. It ended up being that first and cheapest part. Others were going to “replace the master board” at an outrageous cost and that was not even the problem. Steve was honest, professional, and most of all did not try to take advantage of the situation. I will only use Appliance Works going forward.

He was able to work up a reasonable quote for parts and labor and give me a realistic timeline for parts arrival and repair. The parts and repair was actually in a shorter time frame than stated. My dryer started grinding and making very concerning noises. Called for service and was given a quick appointment. Javon was my technician- he called beforehand to let me know he was on the way, arrived promptly. Very polite young man, asked about the dryer issue and listened to what I said before listening to the dryer. He got to work right away and saw the problem, gave me an estimate and performed the repair. After putting it back together there was still a small noise so he took part of it apart and it wasn’t anything broken, just a dime stuck somewhere that wasn’t part of the original repair. . He fixed that, now it’s quiet and runs like new again. He tidied up and left the laundry room clean. I enjoyed chatting with him and learned a lot just by watching him take apart my dryer.
